This position is part of Shutterfly’s corporate team and reports to the Senior Manager of Technical Accounting and External Reporting. This position serves a critical finance role and will interface with personnel at various levels of the Company, as well as the internal and external auditors. Primary responsibilities will include external reporting, accounting research, drafting accounting policies and memos, and providing technical support to members of the Finance and Accounting team. This position will both assist in the preparation and oversight of financial filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and special projects as needed.

VICE PRESIDENT, SHUTTERFLY BUSINESS SOLUTIONS (SBS) TECHNOLOGY
Enterprise Applications and Architecture
Shutterfly is seeking a Vice President of SBS Technology to design and build an innovative cloud platform that is based on a service-oriented architecture with externalized APIs to serve customers ranging from Fortune 10 companies to small businesses. This role reports directly to the SVP, Enterprise and will have a dotted line on technical matters to Shutterfly’s overall CTO. The new leader will have responsibility for technical efforts supporting both existing and new customers across the existing SBS business.

Shutterfly Business Solutions (SBS) has grown to an approximate $200M annual business by working with large customers to transform their traditional offset print to a more impactful mix of digital and offset printing. Shutterfly has identified growing the SBS business and expanding into additional B2B opportunities as a strategic mandate.

-Serves as liaison between Customer Care and Operations
-Lead efforts to get Rush, VIP, and Customer Escalations completed and provide feedback to team on their status and what is needed
-Work with other departments (LabEng, IT, etc) as needed to get late orders moving.
-Audit work processes and provide feedback to managers and employees if non-compliances are found.
-Provide Project Management Assistance as needed
-Able to create and run daily reports to track late orders and communicate this data to the team
-Follows and enforces all facility safety rules
-Understands and communicates all Production Metrics within the department
-Shares any and all quality issues with management, and other shifts
-Understands and executes whatever it takes for on-time fulfillment of all products
-Gets directives and predetermined work assignments from Shift Manager
-Promptly report errors and roadblocks to the Shift Manager
-Maintains a good professional relationship with all associates, Leads, Shift Managers
-Assists Operators by answering questions and demonstrating operations
-Makes recommendations for new procedures
-Takes initiative to write new work instructions or standard work documents
-Trains associates as needed
-Other tasks as assigned
