Shutterfly Announces Sharon Segev as new Chief Legal and People Officer

In newly created role, Segev will drive the alignment of all business, legal and people operations functions

APRIL 1, 2021- REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Shutterfly, Inc., the leading retailer and manufacturing platform for personalized products, today announced the appointment of Sharon Segev as Chief Legal and People Officer. Sharon joins the company in this newly created role and will be responsible for driving the alignment all business, legal and people operations functions for the Shutterfly family of brands.

Sharon has more than 20 years of international and operational expertise in driving large scale initiatives to enhance business efficiency. Most recently, Sharon was Chief Financial and Legal officer for Smule, the fast-growing music app, where she blended functional boundaries managing the finance, HR, legal and business affairs functions to bring a strategic focus to business operations. Previously, Sharon was Executive Vice President and General Counsel at LifeLock where she led LifeLock’s transformation and $2.3 billion acquisition by Symantec and drove the cross-functional transformation of information security, data privacy and compliance for the company. She also previously held senior positions in a variety of strategic business functions including legal, corporate development, people operations and finance with growth startups, global enterprises and turnaround companies.
