REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sep 08, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Shutterfly, Inc. The Institute’s unique methodology measures the level of trust that exists between employees and management, the pride employees express about the company and the camaraderie employees share.

“As the leading independent player in our category, we are by nature an entrepreneurial organization and therefore attract employees who embody that spirit,” said Jeffrey Housenbold, president and CEO of Shutterfly. “Shutterfly fosters a trusting and respectful atmosphere where employees speak freely and share ideas. We are honored to have been recognized as one of America’s best places to work.”

That open communication has resulted in a number of innovations from the Company in recent years, including Shutterfly Share sites, the Company’s customizable, non-photo Stationery line as well as numerous enhancements to the manufacturing workflow for its two 100,000 square foot manufacturing facilities.

Based in Redwood City, California, Shutterfly is the leading provider of photo books, cards and stationery, photo Share services and top quality photo gifts. Millions of people have billions of images stored on Shutterfly, taking advantage of its free, unlimited photo storage.
